I would suggest you read through this site www.logcap4jobs.com . It contains all of the information in the indeed forums, but it is more convient because all of the info is in one place. With the forums you have to do a lot of web searches. Hopefully that will help you. Also fluor as a virtual recuriter featuer at www.workatfluor.com , I do know if anyone has been hired through that process but its worth a try. |

Something else that may be helpful is to tailor your resume to the job posting. It sounds obvious but there are a lot of keywords in the job postings, you should somehow incorporate them in your resume. Your resume should have two or three sections stating how your work experience has deveolped certain skills etc. There are thousdands of resumes and cover letters obviously recruiters do not read each one, everyone in the forums seems to agree that they do a search and look at the first few resumes that pop up. I cannot overstate this make certain you have a great resume do not just have a simple one with only work history. There is a lot of information about the process already in the forums, if you take time to read it you will probably find many more suggestions. Apply to as many jobs as possible, most people apply to more then one company csa kuwait, fluor, kbr, dyncorp, mantech, if you do a search you will find a few other more obscure companies. |
