What's the company culture at Fluor Corp.?

Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Fluor Corp.?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Fluor Corp.?

I can't speak for what the culture is like out in the field, but at the Greenville training center where they prepare us to go to Afghanistan the culture is highly professional and safety driven to a degree I've never seen before. It's semi casual, even for us construction worker types. Polo shirts at a minimum. Fluor seems to be all about crossing every t and dotting every i 100% of the time.
