It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Forex Capital Markets?

Any advice on striking the right note?

I went to the career fair held in dallas april 2006. I impressed this one gentleman with my forex knowledge. He offered me an interview the next day. As I sat there waiting (for 1 hour) for my interview they gave me a page to read. That page talked about how the price of oil was rising. Then when I went into the interview I was asked questions about the page. They asked me how the price of oil would affect the economy. Throughout the interview I was tested on fundamental analysis. I was even given a brief lesson on fundamental analysis. I'm aware of fundamental analysis, but as a forex trader I rely more on technical analysis. I wished they had asked questions about technical analysis. The whole interview lasted about 4 hours. 3 hours was spent just waiting. That day Bernanke made his first speech. They said they were busy with customers on the phone explaining the volatility. I was exhausted and anxious to leave. They said they'd call if I got the job. I then recieved a letter from them saying they found someone else for the job. It's total bull**** because I kept track of their openings and they are constantly hiring. They're stupid for not hiring me. They'll have to settle for someone who doesn't know the market and train them. Their loss!!! To make things worse I had driven 600 miles for the interview. And to this day they are still looking for candidates.
