Do you work at Frederick Memorial Healthcare System (FMH)? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

I have worked there for 20 years. and can honestly say, it gets weirder there every year.
the old "weird" administration has been replaced with an even stranger bunch. mooning over the "STRUDER" way.
DO NOT take an RN job there unless you get the real cinincal ladder story. it is completely insane, and childish. no other hospital has such mandatory requirements ex- a mandatory PORTFOLIO!!! what is that about?? to be done on your own time, NO pay for hours of work. you MUST see it to believe it.
fmh is a small community hospital, and thats what it is. but they dont think so.
and its all about being a tattle tale, which we were taught as kids NOT to be, yet they thrive on it.
also their health bebefits have changed and you now have a 2k deductible for hospital care for yourself /family.
my advice,, try a STA for 50/hr ( short term assign) and see what you think.
