.10 to .12 cents a share on the over the counter "penny-stocks" - HAHAHAHA AH HAHAHA HAHA - bye bye "little fremont". Over 80 years in business and the greed of the subprime mania sent you into your death spiral. The 60 day WARN act has been invoked - all of you dupes that still work there better get a new job....but not in mortgage banking - all of those remaining jobs are either dried up or already taken!!

And by the way, how is your ESOP doing??

BLAH HAHAHAHA. Should have got out when the getting was good...

Bad company + poor managment + poor business plan X zero risk managment = unmitigated DISASTER!!!

And now they are ready to run CARRINGTON into the GROUND!!

Isn't it just GREAT??

First of all Jack in Long Beach, you're absolutely right the company was extremely greedy and grossly mismanaged by some completely incompetent individuals. Secondly, the 60 day warn had not been invoked at the time you wrote this (I currently work there I know first hand). Thirdly, yes my ESOP and 401k has taken a huge hit and i've lost thousands of dollars. (By the way Fremont and Carrington have no relationship other than loans sold to Carrington) It's an obvious unfortunate set of circumstances to which i've personally taken a big hit. That said, for those of us still currently employed in areas that had nothing to do with origination or the greedy side that got all of us into this, why would you get joy out of how we've been affected by this? Our families, and our personal lives... Again, those employed with origination in the beginning who did pull the shady deals i can agree they deserve what they got but really those of us not related and had nothing to do with the greed, it seems very un-human that you would take delight in how WE have been affected. Put yourself in the same shoes, I don't know you from Adam but I wouldn't wish you or your family personally affected in any adverse way from something you had nothing to do with. Makes no sense to me as a human being just like yourself.

BOO HOO!! WA! WA! What makes you think I'm human? You should have read the writing on the wall a LONG time ago and got the HELL out of there (as I said) "while the getting was good"... That place has been a house of cards for WELL over a year now! And those of you that have dependants SHAME ON YOU!! You must take a proavtive approach to life, especially when others RELY on you...

And yes, there is a connection between Carrington and Fremont beyond the sale of loans to Carrington - they are called JOHN ALKIRE and KYLE WALKER - both members of SENIOR MANAGEMENT from FIL - now at Carrington (unless of course their notorious reputations have caught up with them and gotten them discharged - but in my opinion these charlatans deserve hard time). These guys unloaded SH*T LOADS of stock just before the crap hit the fan - and left you and every other employee & stockholder to carry the diluted worthless stock in your portfolio. They knew what was going on before it happened - so much for "blackout dates"... Read up on the long list of litigation this company is facing, especially those involving EIRSA violations. Every cent they can raise thru liquidation will now be reserved for settlement of the lawsuits they face...

I used to have an ESOP/401K with this P.O.S. company and I got out when the stock was nearly at the top of it's value, so I GOTS MINE!!!! And now it's all been rolled over into ENERGY funds and has grown by LEAPS and BOUNDS... SO I GOTS MINES AGAIN!! BLA HA HA HA HA....

So emotional you are Jack, you are human afterall... You seem to be taking this very personal now Jack. You seem to have hurt feelings to the point that you would attack people personally instead of looking at the situation in its entirety. By the way i'm not sure where you get your info but Kyle is NOT and has never been with Carrington. I know just about every member of Carrington senior management personally to a degree or another and Kyle is not inclusive of them and that is a fact. So please don't mispeak get them straight.

And no not shame on me, my business that has been in development since the cease and desist came upon Fremont is thriving and doing very well. So yes I did take my proactive approach. My ESOP has suffered but if you can't prepare and diversify your investments like I have then you'd be sitting there with nothing in both hands, which it sounds like you really may be in the situation of. That's my only inclination because you are so emotionally charged with hurt feelings that I can only guess that maybe you are in reality one of the ones that are standing there with your pants down. I suppose though it's really quite hard to read from someone with such a diverse stronghold on the english language... "I GOTS MINE"... ???? Nice job Jack...

Jack Shadenfruede frm Long Beach, you sound like a former emp of fremont-something happen for you to hate others that work there? whatever the case may be, don't take it out on those had nothing to do with the deals-and beleive me, many in the Ontario office have been trying to get out for some time, but as you well may know, jobs are at an all time low-and many of us are not looking within the mortgage industry...that said, those that did the shady deals will be dealt with in the end.

Nope, not exactly - I was wise enough to read the writing on the wall and left before the company crashed and the stock slumped. Furthermore, if you live in Ontario (Sh*tland Empire), I hope you don't own a worthless home there... if you do you are probably upside down. The reality is that I simply enjoy gloating. As for you - you may wish to practice saying the words: "Would you like fries with that?" Ha ha..

so what industry did you switch to since leaving FIL, Jack? and, no offense, Long Beach isn't heaven on earth, either-people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones-there are MANY places in the INLAND Empire that are great to live in-and no, not upside down here-and won't be serving fries anytime soon-my $$ wasn't in the ESOP plan-I pulled it out LONG before the company took a dive, unlike others who unfortunately were hit hard. You should at least have some sympathy-anyone could find themselves in an unfortunate situation-no job is safe right now. Who would YOU lean on in tough times?

I wouldn't worry about it 'Ontario fmt emp'

Logical reasoning and empathy does not work with someone like this. They will just respond so they can get a reaction from you. Just take comfort in the fact that you would never wish someone misfortune.

Also, try to imagine having to wake up everyday being "Jack." It almost makes you feel sorry for him . . .

Ha ha, I laugh at you. You sound so defensive. Long Beach may not be heaven, but unlike Ontario it sure ain't HELL. At least I get a nice clean OCEAN BREEZE unlike the beautiful whiff of cow manure you get out there in the Sh*tland Empire -so take that stone.

Anyway, just a word of advice: at this critical juncture you should be using your time productively here on INDEED to, indeed - look for a new job rather than worry about what some anonymous poster has to say about your failed employer.

Certainly, I wake up every day with a big smile :) just knowing that I don't have to breath that miasma induced air you must inhale all of your livelong, soon-to-be-unemployed day. So just grin and bear it pal, it'll all be over soon...

Hey jackson12 - It looks like Jack had your comment removed. I guess he didn't like what you had to say. Heh heh. Please give us details about how "she" is doing. What does that mean?

No, I mean you are a loser. It seems moron #1 (in Florida of all godforsken places), doesn't seem to understand that this forum automatically removes over-the-top vulgar commentary - which is what moron #2 in "riverside" must have posted. I have nothing to do with it - in fact, I would love to have read whatever vulgar commentary moron #1 posted - it would have tickled me senseless and would be further proof that you are a loon. And by the way, read this:

A panel of economists today offered grim predictions for the Inland Empire economy, including a rise in unemployment, a slide in manufacturing and a wave of foreclosures likely to continue for another two years.

Some of the numbers were staggering.

"There has been a 3,500% rise in foreclosures in the Inland Empire since 2005," said Brad Kemp, director of regional research for Beacon Economics, a research and consulting firm. "Most people want to think this housing drop is over, but it's going to continue."

A recovery, he said, is not expected until early 2011, the same year he thinks the housing crash will bottom out after home prices fall 28% to 32% more.

AAAAHHHHH HAAAAA!!! (GLOATING) I was right again, too bad for you in the "Sh*tland Empire (which includes "riverside", moron # 2). As I previously stated, you may wish to start practicing the phrase: "would you like fries with that?"

Ahhh, the little boy from Long Beach is back. You know what they say about Long Beach, right? More per capita than San Francisco. I'm sure you fit right in. I'll bet you're a regular at Ripples . . .

Jack Schadenfreude the poster boy for Ripples. I bet Jack does stunts for Little Richard in man on man movies. For the life of me I can't understand how someone from Long Beach has the audacity to insult the Inland Empire or Florida. Bosco let me tell you from someone that lives thankfully about 45 minutes away from Long Beach it ain't no picnic. It's the land of a thousand hookers, homeless on every corner, a liquor store on every block and a drug dealer/gang member for every two citizens. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! This means "paradise" to Jack apparently. Jack the comedian. (I wish you could hear how loud i'm laughing Long Beach Jack!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

We should really try harder not to upset Jack or hurt his feelings too much however. He may round up some of the "homies" and ride on out to Riverside (a place he secretly wishes to lives) and pull a "187" and try and "bust a cap". Jack's gang name in the LBC (long beach) must be "baby joker" with all of the comedic value he adds to me every time I read this blog.
