What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does GANZ stack up against the competition? |

Tom Masterson in Boston, Massachusetts said: I read that Ganz just laid off hundreds of their sales people all across the country starting before Christmas--that CAN'T be good.... Exactly, they have a very big revolving door. |

Agreed. high turnover and no job securiy. They did the big lay off with only 1-2 days notice for most of the sales force. I believe top management is to blame. Got too big too fast. Ganz thought they were invincible and ultimately had a rude awakening. |

Don't even think about working for Ganz! I used to work for this company until I got laid off one morning without even a notice before, and just because I was previously coming from temp and just became permenant 3 months agao, they only paid me for an extra one week pay! I worked for this company through temp for 6 months before I finally became permanent. 6 months! And to top all, the HR department gave me a hard time when I was trying to get a ROE form. The woman actually yelled at me because she thinks I was messing up with her by telling her that I haven't recived the form! 9 months working for this company, I've had enough! The management is a HUGE mess, if you work for the WebKinz department, it's a paradise. However, if you work for Accounting, you are destinyed to doom. |
