What are the steps to being hired for a service rep position? I have done the phone interview, testing and face to face interview with a recruiter and they said they would have the service manager contact me for another face to face interview. What else is left? Thanks. |

I believe I'm at the same part of the hiring process as you were, KDew. What happened? |

Is there a group "training class" for the Insurance Development Path, or is training started on a rolling basis, candidate by candidate? The posting is in Lakeland, FL. Has anyone been hired in this position lately?

does anyone know exactly how well you have to do on the typing test and the role play in order to be considered for a customer service job at geico ? i filled out the application online and got a email telling me they were interested and for me to call them for a phone interview, so i did, she scheduled me to come in and do the 3 hour long interview process and i feel i did great on the multitasking , i did great on the face to face interview, and i believe i did ok on the typing test too, but on the role play where you are given only 20 minutes to learn all about a company before you recieve 3 phone calls from fake customers...i think i may have messed that up a bit.....i read over all of the material and i still just wasnt prepared for the questions i was asked...if i would have been able to go home and study the companies info over night and come back and take the test i would have done a whole lot better. i am afraid that this role playing has ruined my chances of being employed by Geico......if anyone can ease my mind please do....i really want this job. I feel i was dressed properly, i was kind, made eye contact, i have several years customer service experience, and i have all of the education i need to be hired, and i have open availability.....well guess ill find out tomorrow....thank you to anyone who maybe able to ease my mind a little. |
