why keep jobs available and even send out info that the employer wants you but later find out that the job has been filled weeks prior. what does that do to your mind ? hours of looking to only find out its not even available, why say the job was posted 2 hrs ago when it was filled 2 weeks ago. |

Yes, u are right! still posted even its not longer available. Its just wasting of time for the people who are looking for a job.. Hope They delete all jobs already filled. But they are still helpful for the past references. But still better if they delete it. Thank you Dept. Of Labor.

The Augusta office for the GA Department of Labor get's nothing short of "Good Job" from me. The staff and managers has gone the extra mile for me while hiring employees over the past seven years. To be honest, as an employer requesting their assistance with my recruitment efforts, I can recall several occassions where the positions that I announced as open were filled and I failed to notify them. Perhaps better communication between the department of Labor and employers will solve the problem of jobs that are posted as open when they have been filled. |
