It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at GameStop?

Since I hang out and smoke pot with almost my entire staff after hours, a lot of times I'll ask people during an interview if they party. If you can't drink until three in the morning at my apartment regardless of your age, then you're unemployable at my location.

Everyone does interviews differently. Its not necessarily the questions they ask that decide if they want to hire you its how you present yourself. Dress well, Make eye contact when you are talking to them, speak well, pay attention. So people will make sure you are paying attention (Ex. Tell you how many stores the company has a whole, and then towards the end of the interview check if you remember.)

And please, god... When they ask you "Why you?" Please don't say, "Because I know a lot about video games."
