Ive gone to the Hyannis store atleast 20 times in the past 3 months and ask do they have any jobs..the manager said no'I wear a shirt and tie when ever I go there for a job and stil every time..No we dont have anything" The Funny thing about it is a few weeks ago the manager hired a guy that dresses up as a girl lol now that was Funny" this person was a dry Queen! now that tells you what he,s Looking for. I think' thats poor Managment" he,d rather hire a transexual instead of a shirt and tie person. I dont' think' thats cool for Kids' You be the judge of this One! I wish I can leave my name but I dont want to risk the chance of some day working there' |

For one thing, you don't know how to use grammar, punctuation, or even spell correctly! I'm a manager there and wouldn't hire you either! That person obviously has many more qualities than you have to offer. |

You seem like you are jealous. You should concentrate on other things instead of making assumptions about someone else's preferences for dress. Be more professional. This is a job site. |

I'm too cool for most of the applicants who come in and I'm often too busy talking on my cell phone arguing with my girl friend or making fun of the customers who come in to the store to really pay any attention to training a staff. Good luck getting a job because I've been with Gamestop for over 4 years and my job is secure. |

There isn't one in our town and the kids here would love to have one. Thank you. |

Gamestop is an EOE. Therefore that individual got hired because they showed and extraordinary skill or ability that the particular store manager found appealing for his or her store. That said....most gamestops do a lot of holiday highring. your best chance to get a job is then get hired on and do an EXCELLENT job in customer service and try VERY hard to meet or beat ur sales goals...and im sure that store manager will have a very hard time getting rid of u over even a seasoned employees that consistantly falls below the bar. Keep in mind that there is someone that wants to prove they are better then u at ur joba nd keep ur sales high. If you dont enjoy the competetion then the job is prolly not for you. ALSO if you cant meet or beat you sales goals then u are probably not meant to be in the sales market or customer service field. EXCELLENT cust. service will help you meet and break your sales goals i have done it everyday for the 1year and 5months ive been employeed at gamestop and moved from an entry level Game Advisor position skipped third key and went straigh to second key asst. store manager posistion.
