What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does GE stack up against the competition? |

Going from what I had heard from GE employees. Yes the company is a strong one but Health Care is laying off 9000+ people. I know that at least 100 were laid off in the area they are headquarted in Waukesha Wisconsin. Something that I heard was that Siemens, their biggest worldwide competitor had a larger installed base in the States. |
