GEICO Education/Experience requirements My automated e-mail response from GEICO includes: “Please bring a copy of your (bachelor’s degree) transcripts to the Testing Session (an unofficial copy will suffice during the interview process).” “…We are considering your application for one of the following positions: xxxxxx, xxxxx, or xxxxxxxx (bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years experience in the insurance or financial services industry is required for the xxxxxxxxxx).” The problem is that I don’t have any hard copies of an unofficial transcript, due to “paperless records”. If I do, it’s out of town in a box somewhere. And I found out that I own money on some of my last credit hours, so I can’t have the school just spit out a copy of a transcript. I have worked at an insurance company for the last 4 years, but not at a job requiring a license or very specialized training. And I haven’t worked with auto insurance. I work at a low level job, but I learn what I can about our lines whenever I can. Is there any one out there who works at GEICO who knows if “2 years experience in the insurance or financial services industry” means: in a licensed, highly skilled, or supervisory position? |
