I am seriously considering an auto damage adjuster job. I worked in a car manufacturing plant for the past 10 years, so I've got a pretty good idea of how vehicles are built and how they work. Before that, I was in retail for 10 years, so I've got a good amount of customer service experience. I'm also currently going to school majoring in business administration. I see a few posting from Geico right now for auto damage adjuster trainees, and the starting pay is actually decent. This job actually sounds interesting to me. I figure I could do this for a while and learn the insurance industry while still going to school. And then either move on to the business side of it, move on to another company or another type of insurance. But how are the field jobs at Geico and how are the employees treated? Thanks!!! |
