2 weeks ago I was offered a position with Gentivia. I was told my starting date would be July 23,2007. I enformed the supervisor over the postion that I was offered that I had a prepaid vacation for September 6, through the 13, 2007, she stated that she had to inform the director of the department and that she would call be back, four days went by no call from the supervisor, so I called her,she informed me that the days requested had been approved and not to turn in my resignation at my previous job yet because the position that was offered had to be approved by the CEO of the company, and that she will call me back the following tuesday when she return from vacation. That was four days an still no call. Glad I did'nt turn in my resignation at my previous job. |

I had a very negative experience with Gentiva. I drove in from out of town for the interview. It took me 2 hours to get to the interview. Thankfully I brought extra copies of my resume because the HR Manager forgot to bring the copy I sent her to the meeting. She also forgot her business card. She was not at all prepared for the interview. Most disturbing was that I was told they would follow up with me and they never did even after I left several messages. They were not professional enough to send me an e-mail. Common practice and courtesy is that if you interview someone in person you follow up with them. Do your research on this company! |
