I new to the Hinesville area originally from Washington, DC Metro Area. Now, I know this isn't a major metropolitan area in Hineville so i dont expect the same pay as a "big-city" job(obviously)Anways i have over 7 yrs in experience and relative carrear fields, strong office skills and very computer proficent. But why is the pay for someone with those skills the same as the McDonalads worker!!!!!! (actually they make more in some cases!) The avg. paying job is 6.00-7.00 with or without expereince. Thats SLAVE wages!! If you dont have your own vehicle, then a commute to savannah for a decent paying job is out of the question! Even so...you still must calculate the price of gas, food, and vehicle maintanice for your salary ex. 10.00per hour Gas: 2.48 per gallon @ 30 mile trip(one way) vehicle maintanice: oil changes, tires, exc
Leaves you with a 6.00 per hour job again, and thats only if you bring your own lunch! And you people wonder why the crime and welfare rate is soooo high in the south? |
