Why do they pay so little but expect you to have years of experience in something? |

I would think that for a job to expect you to know and do so much, that they would pay you for it. No instead you get paid so little. |

Is this job WITH the GA dept. or labor or THROUGH the GA dept of labor? |

I would say that in most cases the area has it's ups and downs. They are just trying to find that desparate person that just would take anything. My suggestion is don't apply to positions that don't offer anything off base pay. Sometimes, there are ways like quarterly bonuses and lots of OT. If these aren't the case then ignore them. In most things you get what you pay for and that holds true as an employer as well. I would not look through the Ga Dept of Labor for anything anyway. Most companies post on Monster and such job boards as that. If I see something on GADL I usually just pass it over. |
