The interview process at Gillece is pretty straightforward. Typically, you will be called back after submitting an application and will be interviewed initially over the phone.
In the phone interview, you will be asked questions that can either disqualify you for a position, or help to narrow done which position will best fit your qualifications. Questions that can disqualify you are ones such as: Do you have a current drivers license, any tickets or accidents in the last two years, will you submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. If you answer any of these questions incorrectly, chances are that you will not be called in for a face to face interview.
If you are called in for an interview, it will typically be scheduled with the HR person, and the scheduling is usually done around your schedule, so if you currently have a job, you don't need to take off of work to interview with Gillece. At the first interview, you will be asked to fill out an application, and then fill out a self analysis of your skills for the trade for which you are applying. It is not a test, but just a self assessment of your skills relating to very specific questions in which you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 5.
After your initial interview with the HR person, you may be asked to meet with one of the managers of the specific trade that you are applying for, or if you are skilled enough, you may be offered a job on the spot from the HR person.
If you are offered a position, there is a mandatory drug test and physical that must be passed before you can start working for Gillece. This is usually scheduled the same day and is pretty quick and painless.
