I have many years of experience in the automotive field, Currently out of work. I have been applying EVERYWHERE,from autozone,Goodyear, etc etc.. Not ONE call for an interview!!!! Yet, Everytime I go into one of these places there are always new people working, and they know NOTHING! They either know ZERO or can hardly speak any english. What gives? Why post these ads? |

That's because those places you mentioned do not want experienced auto techs. They put those experience requirements in those ads knowing they will have inexperienced techs or wanna be techs applying for those jobs. Then they have their "piece of meat" at a minimum price. |

Try calling the places back and ask for an interview, be really proactive. If you bug them enough they will at least bring you in to get you off their back. |
