How does Guardsmark stack up against the competition?

Not in Hawaii. Competition is going to walk all over them, why, there too greedy,
too big (on the main land) and only think about how much they can make for the
company. They don't care about the people that have to work for them. They
use them and abuse them and then dump them when they complain of being kicked around (work even if your sick, go where we want you to go and when we want you to go, and don't complain, etc.).

I interviewed for a job with Guardsmark and even though i didn't take the job when offered, I thought they were amazing for a Security Company. I currently work in house with no advancement opportunities possible and Guardsmark said they start everyone out as an officer and then promote from within. I thought that was great! Their benefits seems great also and so does their training. I actually met the Site Senior Supervisor and he was an awesome person! We had so much in common it was unreal! He gave me a great tour and we talked for hours! I also met some of the staff and they all were so nice! The personnel manager in Burlington VT. was awesome and she was "up-to-speed" on everything. Their application process was unbelieveably through, just as it should be and their pay rate was fair to start at. Even though I did not take the job at this time, I can see myself working for this company within two years after my daughter graduates college (I get free tuition for her as a benefit where I am now and thats about the only benefit)! Anyone that wants a "Top-Shelf" security company at their service would do well to check out this company! Anyone wanting a career in Security would do well to check out this company!
