Pay is based solely on the amount of experience you have. H&M would rather not hire you if this is considered your first retail job. It's rather hard leaving H&M for another retail job because their pay is better than most retailers. Depending on your experience they may start you off with 10.50-12.00 hourly. Visuals may get up to $16.00 hrly, management is unknown however. There are some associates that been with the company a long time who's pay exceeds that of a new supervisor or visual.

Raises are once a year. Back in the day, it was possible getting $1.00 raises or even more, now some places will give you as little as .35 cents or even less...every year!
All staff receives 25% discount on all items, including items on sale. If your store manage to make sales goal, you get free gift cards every month. Your discount can be applied to any H&M on the planet, which is great for frequent travelers.
Benefits at H&M are very good surprisingly.
