Hallmark Walmart RM's - Gripes and Concerns

I work for Hallmark and service Walmarts as a Retail Merchandiser. I am curious if other RM's in other parts of the country are allowed to receive "off" products. I am so furious at all the leftover product that is just tossed in the dumpster all the time. RM's used to be able to take "off" products but my territory assistant will not give me products anymore. I have to just sit back and watch my TA through away boxes and boxes of plates, cups, napkins, table cloths, party favors, stickers, gift bags, bows, cards, etc. etc. Hallmark might as well tell their employees that the garbage is better than their employees. I just have to laugh at all the recycled 'green' cards that Hallmark is producing. They don't care about the environment one bit from my point of view as an insider. They are sure putting a hell of a lot of product in the dumpsters and eventually landfills.

If you are a RM and can still get 'off' stuff I'd like to know as we all work for the same company.
