What are the average starting salaries, bonuses, benefits and travel requirements like at Hershey? What do you like best about working at Hershey? Are there any great perks or special treats for employees? |

they have entry level retail sales reps positions opened. they are expanding their workforce (sales) by about 40 positions thruout the us. they started this process last summer. it's not really sales, you basically go to grocery stores and dust off the hershey kisses and put up signs/displays. good benefits ex. company car. they are also actually overpaying for the position - high 40,000's. if you go to their corporate website they will have the positions left opened. my friend applied but he didn't get it, he said he was alittle too nervous. he also said that a guy named tom lehman interviewed him and was rude to him. when my friend stumbled on the first question alittle because of his nerves tom skipped the rest of the questions by stating he was going to part 2 of the interview. he didn't give him a chance to rebound. and also this *?!@# acted like a gate keeper during the whole interview. at the end tom ask my friend if he had any questions and my friend ask a few. tom acted stuck up and pompous while answering. i would rethink hershey because they are having serious problems - sales are way down, they are being investigated by the government for price fixing, their new ice-breaker candy was just pulled off shelves cause it looks similar to cocaine, and their board were just fired along with ceo who step doen months ago, their stock is slipping cause of this plus milk prices are going thru roof. if you do interview with them tell tom my friend said he is a #@%@!*&!!!!!! |

I was interviewed on November14 and that was I was told the first interview and I did not hear from any of them. I heard that 4 or 5 people will interview and no one got back to me. I have 20 plus years of merchandising experience and I am surprise that I did not get another call. I felt like" who are these people who they say will interview me the second, third or fourth time". A big joke. |

I am applying for a job and any help would be appreciated because I don't want to have the same thing happen to me if I get an interview. |
