If we turn in a employee that is stealing, is there a reward of some sort if that person is caught and fired?

If you report it to the AwareLine, you may receive a reward pending the investigation, after that depending on dollars recovered.

It was a cashier letting someone go through the line without charging for everything in her cart and I did call the awareness line.

That information should go to your DAPM, and then investigated from there. Don't be afraid to approach him or her the next time they are in the building to ask about it, if you are comfortable with doing so.
