I've known about HR position being cut out for a few months & I'm in So FL. First they said the HR Supv position was phased out. Then I heard that they would be getting rid of all Store HRM. Today I got the confirmation by my HR that they would end the position. I also heard that they will either become ASMs or go the way of the IMA's and Night Crew. It should be interesting. But when you think about it as an HR Generalist one of the duties is employee advocate which HR's really are unable to be. They 9 times out of 10 help management build cases against employees and often bend the rules and look the other way when there are violations. I really wish our District HR would be the one they remove instead!
