I READ NOMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT HOME DEPOT CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE U S. I HAD PROBLEMS AT THE ABERDEEN, WA STOR A FEW MONTHS AGO AND E MAILED THE CORPORATE OFFICE WITH MY COMPLAINTS. THEY SENT ME A $10.00 GIFT CARD FOR MY INPUT. THE STORE THEN WAS GREAT EVERR TIME I WENT IN AND I HAD PEOPLE ASKINF IF THEY COULD HELP, AND THEY HAD NO IDEA THAT I HAD COMPLAINED TO THE CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS.
I EMAILED CORPORATE WITH AN IDEA TO BE A "GHOST SHOPPER" AT THE HOMEDEPOTS IN THE SEATTLE TO PORTLAND STORES. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL TO CONTACT THE ABERDEEN STORE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. IF I WAS GOING TO BE A GHOST SHOPPER THEN I CERTIANILY WOULD NOT WANT TO GO DIRECTLY TO A STORE AND APPLY FOR A JOB AS A GHOST SHOPPER, BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE ON THEIR BEST BEHAVIOR, TO BE SURE I REPORTED FAVORABLE ISSUES TO CORPORATE.
SO I AM INCLINED TO FEEL THAT MAYBE THE PROBLEMS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE MAY START AT THE TOP.
