The AACG has taken over the duties of what used to be done by the District HR managers. Basically, every associate incident or write up is supposed to go through them. managers call them in order to get the green light to terminate an employee. They also give them the proper terminology for the final write up (so it could stand up in court)it's not a good thing when they get a call from a manager.

I work at HD, and we also get awesome stock options, discounted shares and whatnot, and although it is true that we don't get a 10% discount, we get discounts at thousands of other local and national businesses instead. When you can save several hundred on computers, appliances,video games, televisions, get gift certificates for pennies on the dollar at restaurants all over the country... it's well worth it. Also, all the Lowe's around here are going out of business, so I think I will stay put.
