Depends on your manager and your department. From what I hear there is no company wide policy regarding tuition reimbursement in IBM.

They stopped basically funding for tuition for the whole thing. I guess you can get approval for classes. Its getting tighter now.

I worked for IBM a few years back. I pursued getting my masters reimbursed and was told that IBM's policy on tuition reimbursement was that they would only pay if the degree was a requirement for your CURRENT job. It seems to me that this policy is an easy way to reject everyone or nearly everyone. I have only heard of managers getting this reimbursement. And that was for those online Masters programs, which are a joke.
