Every business has its own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Internal Data Resources? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Internal Data Resources? |

The company culture is this: New entry-level employees are treated SO well in the interviewing process. However, upon hiring, it is made clear that you are a NOBODY. The managers like to act like they are all making a fortune, and if you work long enough hours, you can be rich too. The reality is this – the more you work, the more money you make them. New employees come and go often. The dress attire is business professional – although it shouldn’t be! Why should you have to wear a tie and suit when all you do is call people on the phone all day? There are no happy hour get-togethers, or anything of the sort, and who would want to go anyway? A typical day is this – wake up early, go to your little cubicle, get chewed out by manager after manager, listen to others tell you how dumb you are and how stupid you look … don’t eat lunch – stay at the office until 7pm … go home, to bed, and do it again. |

I completely agree with the above statement. EVERYTHING about it. O yeah, there are after-work activities planned. You are forced to leave work "early" at 6pm one night a week for a workout (employees are told it's a privelege) and expected to stay late the rest of the week. Always keep this in mind: Ask your interviewers what age the oldest person in the company is. If the age is in the mid-20's that should tell you something. |

Jessie!! (I can't find an employee named Jess in any of our files but anyway)... Dude! You obviously didnt cut it. I make great money ( two promotions already, one of hem brought a $20k raise). I have made great money and yes i work hard for it. There are plenty of get togethers ( you are not invited if you get yourself fired). Tray, Brandon, I have worked with both. I have never been chewed out, only coached and mentored to take my game to the next level ( dude, I am not sure what you did to get chewed out? Sleep at your desk?). Listen Dude, I am sure you are flipping burgers now ( or someplace that provide a uniform, sounds like the tie really got to you, stick to clipons). Stick to that for now. True performers are going to see through your failure and see your bitterness for what it is -self pity. You didn't cut it, no big deal. I am sure you have moved on. We have have to. The Nashville office you claimed to work at is hitting record numbers. Not sure they miss you Jessie....they have grown their team as we are in Atlanta. The company is hitting record numbers and we are hiring several people a month. Jessie, good luck to you and just maybe YOU are the NOBODY. |

Then again, maybe I am just honest about what took place there? You can be upset about it ... that's fine. But I think new recruits have a right to know the truth and not get fed a bunch of bull during the hiring process. If you don't believe me then ask IDR what the average monthly turnover looks like? They will undoubtably say that they aren't sure ... "We've never counted before, but it's so low why would we?" You will find that in your 1st week on the job ... turnover is high, everyone knows it, and it is a running joke. I stand by my comments. They are true. Plain and simple. Congrats on your $20k raise ... you now make $50,000 working 90 hour weeks ... or the equivalent of approximately $10.00/hr. |

My man! Your back! Just because you didn't make it past the first week doesn't make your lies the truth! (there was never a Jess that worked in any office, that's the TRUTH as you say, otherwise your wonderful profile would be found on LinkedIn). So sorry that you think I make $50,000k...this company pays me well, treats me well, gives me great benefits (including stock). Quit trashing everyone else, get over yourself and realize the bunch of bull you are referring to is your write up. Get back to work, grow up, and make something of your life besides tearing everyone else down. good luck to you! |
