Hello Mr. Patil, I recently interviewed at Intuit. Even my offer letter took a while to arrive. The recruiters at Intuit usually talk about the offer letter after you've had a conversation with a hiring manager, because he/she decides whether to send you an offer or not. From your post, I understand you've been told that you were recommended to a hiring manager. So the next step will be a conversation with the hiring manager. In my case, I was contacted directly by the hiring manager after the 1st round of interviews, and then he interviewed me over the phone and thereafter, talked about the offer / offer letter. The offer letter took about a week after that to arrive. So, I would suggest waiting few more days to hear from the hiring manager. If you don't hear by then, then try to get in touch with your primary HR contact at Intuit. They should be able to provide you the exact status of your application. Hope this helps! Good luck! - Karan |

Hi Karan, Thanks for the information. It was very helpful. Can you please let me know if the interview with the Hiring Manager was technical? Or was it just to find out about your preferences etc. Please let me know what I might expect to hear once I am contacted. Thanks, Patil |

The interview with the hiring manager was more an informal conversation about myself and my career goals. He wanted to get an idea of what kind of person I am. However, since it is a Software Engineer position, its always a good idea to consider a slight possibility of some technical questions. By the way, which location are you considering? - Karan |

Hi Karan, I have worked as a Software Engineer for 2.5 years and hence, I am very interested in this position as it is a 100% match. My first preference is Plano as I live in Dallas, however I am willing to relocate on a need-basis. -- A.Patil |

Ghanshyam in Boston, Massachusetts said: Hi Gail, Don't be paranoid - they are working on filling over 100 positions from what I have heard, there may have been an oversight or perhaps they are informing students as they review the interviews...email me - gail_houston@intuit.com and I will check on it for you on Monday when they get back in the office.
