Hidden rules and bylaws exist for rehires.
Government and agencies look the other way to big business. When a company like Chase cuts jobs, usually the longer employed, so to avoid paying the higher 'grandfathered pension and benefits"....They will offer a package, more like a gun to your head...However challenge it with a lawyer you'll get more money.
JPMC will tell you that they will rehire you no problem, after the package....I think those who applied and were rehired is less than 1%.. They outright Lie, they will not tell you since it's illegal, however your chances are coming back to work at JPMC, is slim to None.. This if Fact. I applied to over 60 jobs in my area of expertise and yielded 2 phone interviews and then nothing else.
