Does JP Morgan Chase do drug testing? If so when?

Does anyone know if Chase does drug testing? If so when does it occur? How is it conducted? Anyone out there know? Please advise. Thank you.

I worked for them 1 year ago. They do a drug test after you are hired. They called me and told me I was hired pending the drug test results and after finger printing. I had to go into the local office and complete the drug test there.

If your doing drugs, or planning to participate in illegal narcotics trafficing or usage during your employment at chase or any other bank or any sales job. I would strongly suggest that you do not because clearly you want to make sure you are able to pinpoint sales opportunities. Clearly having a sheem over your brain is not gonna help because logically you will not be able to complete more advanced algorythms in your mind.

my neighbor used to work for chase years ago, through a temporary agency. But he was still given a badge and fingerprinted? However he claims he was not using drugs but drugs showed up in his system? Does this permanetly disqualify him from working at chase forever?

Of course they drug test. They don't want a bunch of druggies working with peoples money. Chase is one of the largest financial institutions in the world.

Drug testing does not keep folks from doing drugs. They would need to do random drug test throughout your tenure with the bank to ensure that you are not doing drugs. Based on information or belief they only do it as part of the hiring process.

Is it a urine test?

It's a standard urine test done at a local clinic.

However if you read the policies they have, they reserve the right to request another drug test if they suspect you of using.

So does anyone know how long after they call you back do they do they require the drug test?

Do you know which background check company that JP used? Is it okay if I omit one short employment in my cv, will they able to find out?

I know i left out a couple diffrent jobs that i had, just because they didnt hlep my resume at all... one of the jobs was a housekeeping job i had but stoped showing up to... i still got an in person interview with chase after i had the phone interview

Well in my experience. They tell you where to go do the drug test at. It is a urine test. I don't even remember if they tell you a date but I THINK that they gave me a date to take the drug test. I do not 100% remember that was 2 years ago. I do know I chose to do everything, fingerprinting and drug test in the same day. I wanted to get it over with. At that time they decided to get me to open an account at their location. You MUST do everything before your start date though. That is a must. It also depends on where you are located. When I did mine there were people there and I was taken before them. I guess it depends on what you went in there for. I didn't have to wait at all.

I have omitted employment that I worked at for 3 weeks (in the same year) actually it was the job I worked at before working at Chase and I was still hired.

Let me tell you Chase doesn't really really care about that. I know people who have had A LOT and I do mean A LOT of jobs and they were still hired.

I have no idea which Background check company they used.

Does anyone know if it is the standard 5 panel drug test for the pb position? I hvae one friday and really need this job. All they test for is mary j, cocaine, opiates, the usual stuff right?
