Guys,

I have just got an email from Chase and I have an interview call at chase On Wed April 28.
I have read almost all the discussion and forum and it helped me finding a lot about the company and the job. Specially I didn't that they have an assessment test too.
After reading so many discussions, one thing I am still looking for is what they actually ask during the interview. I mean to say exactly what questions. Also there are 3 Interview..first with the Recruiter, second with the branch manager and third with the regional manager so what they ask in each of the interview. Also if any recent Personal Banker from Chase in Hollywood, FL can tell me how much the base pay is and how apporx. how much commission can we make?

Guys please me..i have been unemployed for few months and really looking forward for this job.

Thanks

Congratulations on getting an interview! I just got hired at Chase and am supposed to start may 3rd. I am an underwriter so i dont know if we go through the same interview process but Ill share with you what I know. I had just one interview and then got hired. The call from the recruiter was just answering come questions like have I worked in an office evironment before, do I have a college degree, do I have experience. It was very short. Again, I had a different position though and the interview might be different. I then met with whoever hires the loss mitigation specialists, Im not sure her title, but it was two people and took about 30minutes (topt).

here is a website with some common interview questions, if you can answer these and take the advice they give you will do well

www.wisebread.com/how-to-answer-23-of-the-most-common-interview-questions

for mroe just google "common interview questions" or "hardest interview questions"

I took a job interview workshop and got a LOT of helpful information. A lot of it seemed obvious but just in case here are some of the big points that were brought up

come in clean shaven, no jewelry, and no cologne (sometimes it may be in a very small room, ive seen them done in rooms not even 6ft x 6ft)
sit up straight, smile, and keep your hands on your knees, not folded in your lap. look alert and interested at all times.
heres the biggest one that has gotten me a lot of positive feedback from interviews (im 2 for 2, havent had many, but im shotting 100%) BE SURE TO ASK QUESTIONS AFTER THE INTERVIEW
when they are done asking you questions, have some prepared to ask them. this shows you are interested and are thinking a lot about the job. Heres a site with a lot, i picked out about 5 or 6 and wrote them down to bring to the interview
www.resumagic.com/interviews_questionstoask.html
My fav: What one skill would like to see me excel in that would put me ahead of all other new hirees. good lu

I just finished the same process. I had all 3 interviews but have not heard back after the last interview which was about a week and a half ago. The whole process went really well. My fingers are still crossed but getting nervous as each day passes. I know the base pay is usually between $28-32k with unlimited potential for commissions.
In the 2nd interview, they will have you "work the lobby" with customers coming in. This is something that PB's do on a daily basis.
