I used to work for WAMU as a PB and left for a short while and now I am back. I take the series 6 exam next Friday and am freaking out. I have been doing the studying and gotten 60% on some practice test. I take it again and get 90%. But when I take the real deal I get one shot. I have a wife and newborn and cant afford to fail this test. I ordered flash cards and will receive them early next week. Can anyone give me some insight? Did any of you use the flash cards? Did they help? Thank you!

You wont fail. Study hard and take your time at understanding the questions. You're up in Sequim, eh? That's a great place to be. They were pretty successful if my memory serves me correctly. Take care and good luck.

Thank you. I feel much better after having more studying time. Im taking more time on the test and doing better. I think I have it all down, I just have to keep myself in check when taking the big test and don't go to fast. I'm feeling pretty good at this point.

You'll fine, I had an average of 60s on my reged practice exams and I ended up passing the real thing with a 73. Just focus on understanding the concepts rather than memorizing and you'll do great! Good Luck!

I recently took the series 6 exam and failed with a 67%. Close but no cigar.

I need to wait 30 days until I can take it again.

In the meantime, I need to know how much the exams change between a first and second try?

In effect, do they generate entirely new questions or do they change things up a bit or not at all?
