Do you work at JetBlue Airways Corporation? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

I presently work at Dulles International Airport, Sterling, VA as a Customer Service Attendant. However I will be moving back to New York June 6th and would like to work for an airline in a similar capacity. I am seeing a position with the Operations Crew that was posted on this site. This is what I was looking for. Any suggestions? |

Their security staff - whom are responsible for manning the switchboard at their corporate facility - will aggressively fend off any unsolicited requests they receive to speak with a member of recruiting. Even if you were to get through to a recruiter using some kind of social engineering, they are not going to help you. To be considered for employment, you either must attend a job fair which they hold from time to time in the New York City area or you must apply online at jetblue.com by clicking Work Here at the bottom. Further, at the present time, there are no in flight crew positions externally posted. This means they are not accepting applications from the public at this time. It's possible there are internal flight attendant job requisitions posted, but you would be unable to apply internally since you are not an employee. Last, please take into consideration that a good majority of their in flight crew come from within. Other employees apply for the flight attendant jobs internally and are likely to receive consideration before external applicants. Usually, a job that is posted externally is posted internally first, allowing employees to apply before the public has that opportunity. Lastly, there are not many in flight crew member positions available even when they do post a job opening. I know of several people around the country who have applied for flight attendant over one year ago and still have not been called. Their employment applications still say pending. With that, you just need to monitor jetblue.com and apply when an opening is listed keeping in mind that flight attendant job postings last only 3 to 5 days due to response levels. |

Does anyone know how often jetBlue has a training class for airport operations crew? If a new station opens and they hire, when do they send new hires to training? Do they train in Orlando continually? Thanks. |
