this is an ENTRY LEVEL position I have a Degree in BSAS with IT Major plus CCNA, and CCNP Course over 1 and half year, i just dont have the ------- certificate!

I do not know the details but if I were to guess I think you are misinterpreting the programs. Companies look for knowledge (e.g ASP.NET, C#) and experience. Certifications help but they are not necessarily the make-or-break of the deal. |

I'm just tired of these places looking for higher degrees for entry level positions. I have a BS degree in HCI but I havent had any luck because places like this want folks w/ a Masters. I cant even land an internship because the techinical/experience requirements are so high that a guy like me that's trying to break into the industry doesn't even get a fair chance. For 6 years now, I've been trying to find someone to give me a chance but so far no luck. I currently have 5 years help desk experience but that doesn't seem to help my resume much. |

the ccna just gets you the interview, the only thing that stands in your way of getting any job is yourself. remember: bigger salary=more responsibility=you have to want it more good luck with your jobsearch |
