this is an ENTRY LEVEL position I have a Degree in BSAS with IT Major plus CCNA, and CCNP Course over 1 and half year, i just dont have the ------- certificate!
But I do have lots of training i dont know what more they want.
i think JUDGE Group or any group want piece of paper which says ccna Certificate no matter if the person knows nothing about networking.
i think Recruiters look more in depth about the person's knowladge instead of a piece of paper(certificate)

I do not know the details but if I were to guess I think you are misinterpreting the programs. Companies look for knowledge (e.g ASP.NET, C#) and experience. Certifications help but they are not necessarily the make-or-break of the deal.

I'm just tired of these places looking for higher degrees for entry level positions. I have a BS degree in HCI but I havent had any luck because places like this want folks w/ a Masters. I cant even land an internship because the techinical/experience requirements are so high that a guy like me that's trying to break into the industry doesn't even get a fair chance. For 6 years now, I've been trying to find someone to give me a chance but so far no luck. I currently have 5 years help desk experience but that doesn't seem to help my resume much.

the ccna just gets you the interview, the only thing that stands in your way of getting any job is yourself. remember: bigger salary=more responsibility=you have to want it more

good luck with your jobsearch
