Amy in Brooklyn,

I am a former KBR employee who was in food service in 2006-07 and looking to go back. If possible, could you shoot me an email at kodiak570@yahoo.com. I just wanted to pick your brain about your resume and see if my old recruiter is still doing food service recruiting. Thanks in advance.

OH and too all who are reading these, KSniper777 is right on all his posts. Some people are CRAZY over there and you have to keep your head about you. Just stay low, make friends early, and stay positive NO MATTER WHAT. I am telling you this is what I want to do for my career (not food service, but ANYTHING to get my foot back in the door). I made it from Camp Lemonier in Djibouti Africa to Iraq for the MWR program, so you can move up.

I think last time over it was 4 months in a position and you could apply for a new position. And the interviews are ALL on the phone from what I understand!

Good luck all!

KODIAK570

Sorry I thought you was still talking about your husband I appoligize but like I said the majority of the camps have decent accomidations so your chances of staying in a tent are slim well best of luck take care and be safe.

Thanks anyway. I have Admin and MWR experience as well. I just have the most experience and was hired originally with a Food Service resume. Any leads or contacts you could help would be greatly appreciated.

They used to do mask training but not until the end of the week. Tell him to leave it on and they will tell him in Houston. Put a nice sharp razor in his bag just in case !!

I know when I went through in 06-07 processing, you had to shave everything but a moustache for NBC training (Nuclear, Biological,Chemcial) so you could learn how the gas mask felt when it was properly sealed. After you got into theatre, anyone not in food service could have facial hair.

Some camps were more strict than others. I would follow Switch's advice and let him get here first and then find out from those in charge here.

Carl are you at Warhorse? I was there in 06-07 in MWR @ Norquist.
