I think I was told base pay for food service worker, no management is $2000.00 per month. I thought there was someone on the forum a few weeks back that stated truck drivers base was $3000.00. Debbie |

Barbara Gallagher in Houston, Texas said: we NEVER gave ANY money or TAKE any money for jobs with KBR. Well thats interesting, thanks for that. That was a couple of months back when ya"ll were desperate for electricians. Is that true that KBR have met their 1,000 quota for electricians and wont be sending out any more ? |

The base pay on your contract will be an amount per month without uplifts. They start out at $2000.00 and go up from there based on job offered. So the uplift amount varies base on base salary. Debbie |

i don't know if my husband got a base pay quote or not; he was told $122,000 a year. he is a journeyman electrician. he did the initial conf call with the recruiter, then the conf call w/ all the details with a group of people, then got an e-mail packet of things to do next. will he get an official job offer (his was verbal)? also, what is considered overtime? i saw people talking about it...is it anything they work over 84 hours? is that offered a lot? |

LOL on your gramps -- the body may get old, but the mind and feelings don't -- get my drift??? I haven't had a grandpa since I was a child, they all passed when I was young. So, I was left with real tough gramdma's -- they cut me no slack *smile* God will smile on you during your journey. I wish the best for you and your family! |

I am a spouse, mu hubby is a plumber in Iraq, he is working on his second year there. I learned everything on my own before I knew of this forum. We wasted a lot of money and stress because we knew nothing. I enjoy being able to provide information that will make the transition for employee going to Iraq or their loved ones go more smoothly. The recruiters normally go over all that with you. Hopefully, your recruiter contacts you with that information. Good Luck |
