Debbie Creery in Gatesville, Texas 41 months ago	The base pay on your contract will be an amount per month without uplifts. They start out at $2000.00 and go up from there based on job offered. carrigon 41 months ago	i don't know if my husband got a base pay quote or not; he was told $122,000 a year. he is a journeyman electrician. he did the initial conf call with the recruiter, then the conf call w/ all the details with a group of people, then got an e-mail packet of things to do next. will he get an official job offer (his was verbal)? also, what is considered overtime? i saw people talking about it...is it anything they work over 84 hours? is that offered a lot? - Was this comment helpful? We wasted a lot of money and stress because we knew nothing. I enjoy being able to provide information that will make the transition for employee going to Iraq or their loved ones go more smoothly. Debbie Creery in Gatesville, Texas 41 months ago	You don't have to do anything but fly back to Iraq at end of contract. Contract is open ended. He would like to come home to stay after July 2009 but only if he can locate work. If not he plans on going back.
