Patrick K in Eatonton, Georgia said: Thanks KoKo for that info! There is Exams in and Classes in Baghdad Camp Victory/Liberty regarding regulations... they are pass/fail but I haven't heard of any Sparks failing them yet. I wouldn't get you're hopes up on being upgraded to a master... there's loads of British Approved Sparks/Same as a master who are going to Iraq as a Journeyman. My friend is a JIB Technician, which is the Highest Grade you can get, yet he had to accept a journeyman rate... he's been in Iraq 2 weeks and said there's little chance of being upgraded untill you have done 2 trips... which is 8 months i think. 2x4 month trips |

Hubby said, had hold over meeting and they read off a list of names for tomorrow--his was not on it but they told em to check back tomorrow afternoon cause they figured to have more appointments posted. |

I did a little reading (very little actually) and if I understand correctly NEC standard residentual would be the same as TNC-S in Brit standards. Is that correct or is it back to class for me? |

Is that correct or is it back to class for me? TNC-S is a PME (Protective Multiple Earthing) supply I'm not sure what the NEC standards are, but it is used in domestic situations. You can get several free booklets online which are quite handy explaining all the systems, but there are several systems used in Iraq. |

As far as I know there are no flights till about wed or thursday (daughter in law just called). So it's still a waiting game. Ken has been there for just over a week, but there are guys still waiting for wheels up that started with Fred on the 16th of feb. Hope they get out soon.

HEY KOKO GREAT MOVIE.......IT'S ANOTHER REDHEAD.......MY FAVORITE LINE "HERE'S A NICE STICK TO BEAT THE BEAT THE YOUNG LADY." AS HE'S DRAGGIN HER HOME. watch every chance I get, love those movies directed by JOHN FORD. The western set of SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON, FORT APACHE,and the last skips my mind are great. I think the greatest cut-up was Victor McGlauglin, he plays Mareen O'hara's brother...hard drinkin, hard fightin, but heart of gold, what a riot. Great in GUNGA DIN with a young Cary Grant & Douglas Fairbanks Jr. You can't go wrong with those movies. |

looks like the brit standards of grounding kinda resembles a gfci breaker. you have your earth ground of course and then bonding the neutral. looked up on wikipedia |

There's nothing major, just in the UK in recent years Earthing has gone over the top. |
