To use it from Iraq, they would need a computer that is hooked up to internet and phone service...at least that is what I got out of reading here and on the magic jack website. So the short answer would be no. blessed what type of work do u do? |

Haven't tried it with hubby yet, just changed it to houston. DOWN SIDE IS: if power goes out then you can't use that phone because it runs through software on you computer. I set it up because my daughter is coming to stay with me while her husband is deployes. We would be fighting over the phone and I would have to pull MOM rank on here if both the son in law and my hubby called at the same time. Just saves alot of fighting :-) |

Horses, hunting and fishing kept me from going nuts. Its a beautiful place, and bowhuting is my passion. But Im 30 miles from the closest Walmart, and the neigboring hunters shoot anything with exposed bone. Ruins it for everyone else. Plus my wife hates it. I think we're heading back to Texas after this trip to the sandbox. |

For whoever is curious about the WABI test questions, this is a copy of the email I sent Patrick earlier.... Hey Patrick, The test is pretty lame. They are going to ask you the same question over and over by rephrasing it. Your answers should be consistant with your previous answers. They want someone who is not willing to sacrifice quality of work to save time (even if it means missing a deadline). Safety is the top priority when regarding any project or routine work. There is a question that asks you if you would like to go sky diving? or bungee jumping? The answer is no. Even if you have before. In emergency situations, they want someone who reacts, and may even take charge, but calls for assistance. They want leaders, but not control freaks. They want someone who does not loose their temper, and can ignore other co-workers tempers. They want you to be willing to accept a new challange, but be happy doing to same exact job day after day without any changes in routine. Regarding vehicles, they want you to be overly cautious... leave early,so you dont have to speed..... keep your distance from aggresive drivers... dont try to get even. They want you to be punctual, or even early to work.

But the rifle season is only a couple weeks long, and ends after Thanksgiving. My kids are old enough to gun hunt now, but not old enough for bows. (they practice, but not hunt) In Georgia, the gun season goes from mid October to January with a 12 deer limit. Arkansas limit is 3 with firearms. I refuse to buy beef from the grocery store.... Ar sucks. |

I will have to remember that for the granddaughter. |

Best way to get the cell company to switch your area code, is to tell them you are going to be doing contract work in Houston. Or, if you have more than one phone with them ( family plan) tell them your child is going to University of Houston. They should still give you the new area code anyway, but lying will save a lot of hassle. |

Still in awe and pleasantly pleased he was able to call me. I have promised not to worry if I do not hear from him again for a while. I have mentally built myself so as not to panic, U know giving him a 48 hr window, before I do begin to panic. the bad news about baghdad region is in downtown green zone VBC is the airport its basically on the edge of town on west side. he prob will be here at the BTC in another couple hours |

Its our rinky dink town of Libby, want to keep everything here. or I should say, Kalispell, we don't have a Libby or troy number with verizon. sigh, told ya I live in the sticks. |

On cell phones, I already have one for work (their contract so can't change the area code) so I don't have my own phone. I have the teenagers on prepaid so I can add money at will and not pay for it when they aren't allowed to have them, amazing "currency" with teens. Anyway, what time can they usually call? Alltel has a prepaid plan with free nights and weekends that's only $.75 a day. It's what the kids have had forever and I really like it...I think it would work out cheaper than any plan I've looked at..still toying with the idea of just using my pager...just worried about how fast those pages actually come through.... |

Cell companies generally frown on the out of state area codes. Even though roaming is free to you, it costs them to use different towers. Normally, this is not a common expense to them for average users, so they offer it free. They are more likely to give you the # you want if you claim the phone will be used in that service area. |

They can either change it or I will do away with it. Only reason we got cell phones was because hubby was driving log truck and I was in college. I am sure they will come around to my way of thinking. |
