just signed my contract a few minutes ago. I was told that all the people that needed medical things to take care of were not going to be called back. Kind of like the blood pressure fail, you go home for two weeks and take care of it. Not anymore. I was told the same thing about a hiring freeze. Good thing i took care of my blood pressure by reading this forum. Indeed is the bomb ! |

Koko Wilson in AS, Florida said: Yes, there is and he will need to schedule an appt for--at least if he is over 40 yrs old and if they want more than --I think 150,000.00 worth. Hubby had to have a minor physical for thursday morning--when he got appt for. ( yes, another but no biggie--hubby said) Hubby is 43 yrs old and a smoker got 250,000.0o in access of what KBR offers free of charge. Cost will be about 82.00 a mth for him--but he is a smoker. Ins rep told him it would have been about half of if he was a non smoker and told him if he got off cigs for a yr they would lower it to non smoker level. Thank you Coco husband is 46. He just got back at hotel and called a few minutes ago. I will tell him what you said. |

I'll be fine, lol just didn't expect stuff to start going to pieces in the first month. It worked just fine, I thing its all breaking because its not being used as much. Gave it to much time to think about how tired it was. :) |

Hubby and I build this house ourselfs, no contractors. We did everything but the foundation. So while he was finishing up the roof, I was doing plumbing and wiring. Like I used to tell him, I was the brains and he was the brawns. LOL |

We still haven't heard anything, no travel papaers, nothing about cancelling from his recruiter...hugs to everyone waiting for news and those whose hubbys/SO are over there and living amid this stress...whatever happens is meant to be :) |

He safety will be a big issue 4 the people. He said afganistan and dubai r good because of the forces but 2 be careful in Iraq and Kuwait when the forces pull out. |

He said right now KBR and all of the contractors are going through. It is a frenzy now to get contracts and the new contractors would keep the workers there because they r familiar with the work and they don't want 2 go through the costly process to hire new employees. The old song: IT'S CHEAPER 2 KEEP HER.............. |

He said also the majority of people will leave because the military is gone and they r tuning the government over to the iracs by 2011. They will be shipped to where the military will be. He said he feels the military will still need help no matter what wheather here or abroad and he also sid look for other placs like germany, italy, australia where there are other bases and apply. |

Well, I may be screwed for Sunday. I just got the supplemental Data email at 3:30 this afternoon, with instructions that they have to have it by 5 today. My net was down untill 9:30 tonight. I sent it back asap, but may have a big headache over something stupid. Ive been trying to get a response from my recruiter for a few days. I specifically asked about those forms, and whether or not I still needed them.

The last time I actually shaved my entire face was in January of 2006. Which happens to be the last time I attended the NBC Training |

lostwithouthim in piedmont, North Carolina said: OK, I hope I word this right some someone can answer this question for me. From what I understood from a conversation with my husband is that since 120 days has past and he is about 3 weeks into his next 120, when he gets back from his soon to be r&r on the 31st he has those extra days credited towards his next r&r? In other words, after a total of 240 days he will be able to take another?? Not sure if this was answered. But as I understand it, YES the days/ weeks he is over go towards his next 120 days. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I also beleive the days he/ they are on RR go towards the next 120 days too? Or do they just start the count again after they go wheels up from RR again? |

Good morning, I think. I slept horrible last night. I turned up the heat worried we would be too cold (Texans aren't used to cold ) and I woke up too hot so I didn't get much sleep. The upside is I get to talk to my husband when I do this.. Okay, you begin to count again when he gets back to Iraq. That way if he can't make his 120 days because all the slots were filled, it will still work out. I usually just count the next 4 months. It has always worked this way okay for me. |

I think these thing's happen when they first leave to make us see how much they really do carry the weight around at the casa. My hubby left in September and right after he left we got mice in the garage "eeek" which made me ill....then the tree in the back yard got a fungas and was growing weird crap....then my daughter who is 16 started having issues with her car and asking me what to do....I was like her, "what do we do"?lol Thankfully after the first couple of months things started to flow right again:) |

My Husban got this last night and is not happy about it.....he realy want to go and work for KBR,,,,,,,,read below,,,,,, As you know the economy is in a recession at the present time. Due to this KBR is also being affected. All hires have been suspended until further notice. 200 jobs have been canceled. Unfortunately yours is one of them. At this time I have to rescind your offer of employment. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please remember this is out of my control. I will hold on to your paperwork and when jobs start rolling in again you will definitely be the first I call. I will give you a call tomorrow to answer any questions you may have. :( |

In the last month I have seen so many my head is spinning.....and the cat keeps bringing them to me to watch her play the cat and mouse game.......Every where I turn there are mice. I think because he was always in the basement and garage he kept them away so to say and now he is not stirring those areas and they are moving in on me. I am heading to the local feed store and they have those little blue blocks to throw out and that is how I hope to rid myself of the rodents!! I just have to hide them from my animals so they do not get hold of them. |
