Debbie Creery in Gatesville, Texas said: KBR is raping us on these tickets. Always 400-600 higher then we can purchase ticket ourselves. And with the number of plane tickets they buy they must be getting some great prices for tickets. I flew from Dallas to Barcelona and my ticket only cost $560.00 round trip. Someone should put a stop to the gouging of money on these tickets. mine round trip to tampa and back was 1227 bucks cheapest i could find it on the web was 1080. I think it mainly depends where you are flying but they do make money |

jordan golden in douglasville, Georgia said: tstorm do all the other contractors enjoy the same amenities as kbr, like food, mwr, etc.... yes the DFAC is for everyone to eat as well as MWR. Kbr has their own little mwr's and phone booths but all others are for everyone else except the TCNs. TCNs have their own DFAC to eat from |

tstorm in Plan said: somehow you got robbed. guys fly to bangkok and phillipeans for 7 800 bucks. i thought so...and my hubby was HOT over it...but i just tried not to think about it and consider it "insurance" for a good job for the next 8 months. i think part of the reason they get away with what they do is that folks are "job scared". It took a lot to get him there and now we want him to stay...need him to stay. another thing...they gave him HORRIBLE flights. i called Air France directly and the better flight are available. but since it was booked through KBR travel (not the real agency name, i know) they are the only one who can change it UNTIL hubby is on his first flight. so once he is on that, we can change the return flight to the better time on our own. |

no r&r yet...and he only worked one day at 8 hr the rest were 12...so can't wait to see the difference. the only thing i know of is the air which i expected to be gone. perhaps they charged more than was on the paperwork he got back. if so, i will be more angry!! |

he needs to go to hr and tell them its not right. and explain nicely that people are flying much cheaper. and to try and get a better flight. that is not right. don't let them screw him on that!!!!!!!!! |

carrigon in Dover said: can he do that?!?! man, i love you guys and your help!!! since it is his money and not his supervisors i would call HR Travel and find out what the deal is. Find out how much today to buy that exact same flight and take that price to them along with another option. HR Travel always gives you 2 options minimum to choose from. Unless he is wanting to fly on a certain airline that is pure highway robbery. |

For my first R/R April 20 - May 4ish...KBR offered me one ticket, roundtrip from Kuwait to Tampa, for $1,800ish. I found one online (Expedia) for $890. That woulda been great, but I missed the fine print, they were getting me back to Kuwait one day too late, so I ended up changing my ticket, cost like another $4-500. It was still considerably cheaper than KBR's ticket, but I had to wonder if they were gonna get me to Kuwait in time, cuz that would be on me. Dust storms delay us alot. Next time, I'll try to find "insurance". The $18 deal I got, was only valid for the 48 states I think. |

mona weir in west columbia, South Carolina said: Thats right Tony it is so worth it I had AAA for many years but finally had to drop them as the cost became unrealistic. My auto insurance is able to replicate their services for a fraction of the cost. AAA seemed most intent on selling me more "insurance"; but they did do what they said they would the few times we used them. |
