Part of this dole from Cheney and Co were x number of LOGCAP jobs. But you are right, it's hard to seperate the lazy Bosnian office workers from the lazy American office workers. But then again Bosnian tax money isn't paying the tab, is it? I was always amazed by the amount of money being funneled to foreign companies and country during this whole debacle. Remember when America was great and strong? All you saw on American military bases was American personal, American machines and American supplies. Now Americans just get to bleed and pay for it. Sounds like a recipe for sucesss? I think not. D427, thank you for what you just said!! I don't care if anyone likes it or not, it is the truth. Thank you!! |

Switch, JHT posted an in house memo of sorts that stated they had temporary resolved what ever issue there was causing the hold up the other day. There was said to be future negotiations in the works for a more permanent solution–but for now it seems as if flights are back on. |

Thanks, well thats good news.I heard that could change from day to day though until it gets sorted. Id rather he got stuck in Dubai in a nice hotel than BTC squashed in a room with 6 others. |

switch in Austin, Texas said: which company are you going with? Cant you call the recruiter and ask them to explain it? Dyncorp, the recruiter said he did not have a breakdown of the pay, they are offering $68311.00 per year, i thought it would be alot more than that or i would get something on top of that. |

TLCanman in Elkins, Arkansas said: is that dyncorp offer in kuwait? kbr still offers 122k a year, 7-12, I have already turned down csa kuwait for 54K, and you have to pay for food. and gas. they are taking advantage of the massive layoffs in the U.S. and everywhere else. It is for afghanistan, apparantly there is no bonuses etc. |
|
TLCanman in Elkins, Arkansas 34 months ago |
that it low ball, I dont understand why so many people are jumping ship from kbr to the other companys for half the money. maybe you should hold your ground. convert us dollar to the pound and that is not so good eh mate. |

Have you tried a company called "BAE" by any chance? In the UK, I think they are better known as "British Aerospace", a rather huge outfit very much international. Good luck and cheers. :) |

Sounds like a recipe for sucesss? I think not. I completely disagree with your opinion, ask the British one of our former allies in Iraq. Their military involvement in Iraq has cost them a fortune. Have you ever served at military capacity in Iraq from 2003-present? |

when I found this forum it said"kbr salaries benefits and bonus" and at first it pertained to that, now it is a he said she said "hows your yard doing? How was vacation? Hey stupid dont ask questions, just look up 4 months ago on page 230 somethin' theres your answer. "we dont have time for you, we have our special group here" That is not what a forum is designed for. it is for answering questions about the paticular subject at hand. you want to socialize go to all the relevent places. and if you want to bash people, join the kkk or something. |

I got the impression Kbr was the worse paying. |

That doesnt sound much at all, especially when you convert it. Maybe thats without overtime? You really need to speak with someone and clarify it, maybe they pay uplift as well ? |
