Good Morning all,

I looked but am still uncertain so I wanted to ask. How do we get the paystubs? Are they emailed, or does hubby get them and have to send them to me? I have to agree, each day gets a little easier, or at least until I see some sappy christmas commercial and then it gets a bit rough. But each day we are on a countdown for the first R&R! Hope everyone has a good day, going to snow here again!

I don't see that anywhere....it just takes me to the page where you would actually pay for the passport. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem, what should I do????

We did but he is currently sharing the computer with his "bunk mate" who is actually one of his best friends from Florida. Still have a few kinks to work out. He took his "holiday" today so he could get situated. He was going to go and find out just when he could take his R&R. When the best time to go, and be back was so you get your reimbursement and R&R pay. He has started going to work out, so you know what that means. I had better get my butt to the gym too. Off to get him an IPOD so I can download the music and send it tomorrow. How is your hubby doing over there? Maybe we can try the Skype this weekend. I know you are busy so whenever is a good time for you!

Just hit submit on the pay page and it will take you to the next page so you can "create a form."

Glad to see I wasn't the only one confused, lol!

Thank you!!! You're awesome! I just printed it out.

Yeah, I was going crazy, I did't want to hit that sumbit button, because I thought it would send me a passport through the mail, and the recruiter warned me "NOT" to do that. Anyway, it's all done. Thanks again for your help!

I just received an e-mail from him and he asked me to send him an blanket with an automatic shut off and some long johns. So yes, those would probably keep him warm. he also asked for his knee pads (ones made of rubber for construction) because when it starts to snow and the ground gets wet, he has to kneel alot.

I have a question for the people in this wonderful forum...I have read every post on here lol...I read where everyone's recruiter calls them and has given them information...Gary Leaves in 9 day's and I am slowly having a meltdown... I am so worried about the dogs, and the keeping his business running, and mine running, and the recruiter has only spoke with him once...He has spoke on the phone to his recruiter only one time and that was at the beginning of his hire...I read a day or so ago where someone was talking about background checks coming back...We never heard anything so he emailed his recruiter to inquire about it...She did respond with the background has been completed. you passed. That was it...nothing more , nothing less lol...Is this normal? Thank God we found this forum, at least I feel I have a support system, and he has answers to what he has wondered...Thanks Everyone You all are my only Christmas Present I need... ~ Debs~

If you get time i would advise you to read back on the forum to gleam as much info as possible. I think you will leave before xmas as the processing center will probably close down then. It is long days in Houston, lots of paperwork and the medical will be on a Tuesday. If you are an electrician you will probably fly out in a week. Other people a little bit longer.

Are the meetings everyday or do you get the weekends / Sunday off? I am just asking because I live close (70 miles) and it would be nice to have a little time with the family before I leave.

Hello to all that remember me from previous discussions. Well I have been MIA because of getting settled in here in Afghanistan. I am currently in Kandahar Afghanistan and it is ok. It is so hot here during the day and cold at night. Well, I just thought that I would drop in and say hello to all, and if anyone have any questions about proccessing, or anything let me know. Oh, and if this hasn't been stated then let me say it. Your location that you are told is sucject to change at any location throughout processing, Houston, Dubai, or the point where you go for New Hire Orientation. Trust me I know, it happened to me, and took me by surprise. Until next time be safe...
