If there are jobs posted on the KBR website for instance, does that actually mean that the position is available? How long after a position is filled before they remove the advertisement? jlaker in Charlottesville, Virginia 32 months ago	I applied for over 9 months before I was hired. Leaving on the 27 of OCT. You have to be very detailed with yo resume. You need to spend your time with the many other contractors. There are nearly 500 in the middle east, wether sub or prime. Kno your field of extpertise, target those companes that ave that market. Find out what service branch they work for and where. While the money In Iraq and Afghanistan is good, it will blind yo to the conditions and reality of war. It is no game and not just another job. There is a Jimmy Flaggerty at Fluor but he never replied to my inquiries either. Recruiters just don't.
