MEDIC: 91(S) Environmental Health Specialist US Army; Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB); EMT-B (expired 2005)

TRUCK DRIVER: 250K miles OTR (flatbed); Class A CDL, Tanker, HAZMAT. Equipment: Tractor trailer, front-load commercial garbage truck, 3K gallon propane bobtail.

ADMIN/CLERICAL: Over 20years administrative, sales and customer service experience. 2yrs management experience.

Thanks so much for any help you could send my way!!

Wow you have a lot of experience and since your ex-military that should really place you at the top of the list. They prefer ex-military over civilians, you can try using linkedin to contact recruiters. From experience do not waste time with Fluor recruiters they all say apply on the website. It really is about luck, because most of the time you cannot tell what area someone is recruiting in by reading their profile. They do not make it clear.

Make sure you have a resume that lists all of your qualifications and the key words drawn from the job descriptions. Make certain it goes beyond a simple resume more then just work history, have a two or three paragraphs stating your different qualifications etc. It is worth spending a few days researching how to write resumes because it is the primary tool recruiters use to pull up applicants. Check kbr and fluor often because I usually see a lot of truck driving positions.

I forgot to mention that if you search this forum via google you can also find mentions of recruiter emails from a year or two ago. For example you can google "indeed forum kbr recruiter truck driver", something along those lines. If you are persisent you will find information.

That's an awesome tip. Thanks!

BTW, my husband was born in Keene and lived in Milford for a bit. Small world!
