Has anyone heard anything about Visa problems for people outside of the USA?

I heard that the government has asked to hold bringing in any foreign nationals into to USA for processing(including resident aliens)for right now.One of my friends got this msg from KBR.

I was told by recruiter that there was a hold on foreign nationals for now but still wants my police check sent might be going in couple of weeks
