I am set to arrive in Houston in late January for processing. I have asthma, and I know that it is a disqualification factor. My asthma is not even a problem, however I do have inhalers that I have at home in case one is needed. I have never had an asthma attack, just the occasional symptons. I am considering not telling them about this, but was wondering if it were possible to take a few inhalers with me in my luggage when leaving for Iraq. Do they go through your luggage to check and see what you are bringing in the military base when you arrive? Is it even possible? Any input would be appreciated...Thanks

I'd be very cautious

I would advise honesty. Get a doctor to sign off regarding the minimal effects the asthma has on your work and forward it to the recruiter.
