Trying to get Hired.... Electrician

Hi, can someone please help. I have been in contact with KBR for months. They told me my Irish electrical qualifications would no longer suffice. They advised me to get the transferred into UK qualification (JIB) I done this and it cost me a heap of money. Flights, accommodation and training in the uk. Came home gave them the JIB cards, to be told all jobs are on hold. Understandable.

Buts its months down the road and they are uploading jobs all the time, people are on here are saying they are flying out to Huston etc.

Any help to get a job or advice would be great please.
