I had a very low position at Kennametal at the Cleveland location. Working as a Picker....the job is very LONG and Boring. Very high employee turnover rate. I got this job froma Staffing group, started off a temp worker and on to a permanent position.

The Pay as a Picker is 11.25 an hr with Unlimited OT. Fairly good for the simple task of picking machine bits for shipping. The benefits are really good. This company take care of their employees when it come down to benefits and wages! Unfortunately, the money comes with a huge ASKING offer that goes beyond work.

Their Policies are very very strict, attendance is a major role! As most Employers that is true, but here is Zero Tolerance! You have no flexiblity in scheduling, actually is more like this...here's your shift....6am to whenever we tell you to leave, or 12pm to whenever we tell you to leave. Great to be working OT, but again...forced OT can suck sometimes. 60- 70hrs a week! Because Nobody goes home until the work is done for that day! As for myself, I work to live, I DONT live to work! The pay is good for those that dont have any form of skills or education. I left because it is a boring job! I was being well paid! But its comes down to the point where you have to ask yourself.....Am I happy with this job, can I do better?

I didnt like the hours or the job itself, but the Employer make sure they pay their employees! Including the good benefits
