What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?

How does Kforce Professional Staffing stack up against the competition?

AVOID these idiots

lowball offers,
don't know anything technical,
don't update you regarding the status of your submissions
they don't update job boards when the
position is no longer available.
they stick it to the H1's

just robots trying to take advantage

I Knew there was something fishy,
so i asked about a job using 3 diffferent
email addresses and they sent me 3 different offers.
they differed by 20$/hr. what the #^%^%??

I used Kforce in San Diego to help me find my last position. I had a very different experience from the previous comment. I found them to be very professional with timely follow up. I landed a great position with a great salary. I would not have been able to do it on my own because the job was only advertised through Kforce. I don't think I would have ended up with the salary either. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I agree with this one. Avoid the Chicago KForce office, for Acctg/Financial stuff. This guy told me to check in with him once a week. I've called like crazy and my calls are always routed to his voicemail. He's never called me since I visited the office...like, 2 months ago. Not to mention, the receptionist seems to be gone, like 2-3 hours in the afternoon. So the phone rings and rings, and goes to voicemail. I don't think they have any positions. I just don't believe it.

Low ball offers is correct. I don't recommend them.

I've NEVER, EVER seen hours like what they've posted here:

5:00am-6:30pm

Who in their right mind would work a 13-1/2 HOUR shift ?!?! That's nuts!

I agree w/ prev. posts... keep looking elsewhere.

I have never in the course of my 10 year career been treated so unprofesionally and unethically by (lack of) management. I would recommend anyone worth their weight in salt go work somewhere else.

I passed on contract job that was ready for me to start in order
to pursue a "great opportunity" that they had for me. They said that the client wanted to hire me for a contract-to-perm, but there was a "slight delay" with a start date. The slight delay went from a week, to several weeks, to over two months. I was assured by KF the entire time that they "were doing everything they could" to get me started there. That was back in Dec. Never heard from them after that, though I've noticed that as of Jan 6 the position has been re-posted on job boards. No contact, no explanation, no attempt to make it up to me by hustling to find me something else. Kforce, thanks for NOTHING.

I would have to agree. they contacted me about an ad I responded to, and it then I called them back and it took them about 3.5 weeks to get back to me. when they did, they told me about how they would get my resume in the hands of all of these great places and get back to me.....and that was 6 weeks ago, and I haven't heard a word from them.

I totally agree they're unprofessional just want to fill up their data bank with more resume....and that job, other financial analysts and audit manager positions are at Dana, another failing company they'll keep posting those positions over and over..save your time and efforts and avoid both, Kforce and dana

Also, I had one good job temp to perm. change all of a sudden. I was going in for training and was told the job was canceled. Very strange. Then I was given an A/P job that stayed temporary for over 16 months and quit.

Don't waste your time, it's the same position open at Dana corp. since early 2009...not a good place nor professional audit department to work for after the bankruptcy and the invasion of new different management....moreover avoid Kforce and don't lose your career
